A Magical Mediterranean Adventure Aboard the Disney Dream

Embarking on a Disney cruise is always a magical adventure, but our family of four sought a truly unique experience as we set sail on the Disney Dream in June 2023, exploring the picturesque Mediterranean. Pre-Cruise Excitement in Barcelona:

Anticipation built as we arrived in Barcelona a day early, giving us the opportunity for a half-day tour before boarding the cruise. Our private tour guide led us through the vibrant streets of Barcelona, offering a glimpse into the city's rich history and culture.

Fine Dining and Entertainment on the Disney Dream:

Onboard the Disney Dream, our evenings were filled with exquisite dining experiences at Remy's (French Cuisine) and Palo's (Italian Cuisine). Unfortunately, not every port day went as planned. Marseille proved to be a challenging stop when our scheduled tour guide failed to show up. Disheartened, we decided to spend the day back on the boat, turning an obstacle into an opportunity to explore the Disney Dream's amenities.

Florence's Artistic Wonders and Wine Country:

In Florence, we marveled at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, explored Piazza San Giovanni, and visited the Santa Maria Opera. Despite missing Michelangelo's David due to museum closures, hiring a private guide allowed us to navigate the city seamlessly. We ventured into the hills, discovering the beauty of Tuscany's wine country, a unique addition to our Mediterranean adventure.

Opting Out in Kefalonia:

Choosing to forego a short tour in Kefalonia, we spent a leisurely day on the cruise ship, relishing the amenities and tranquility it offered.
